Unlike creating user journeys, I am familiar with wireframes. Being able to represent ideas visually is right up my alley and what I excel at. While reading The Role of Wireframing in Mobile App Design, it was interesting to learn that wireframes not only show the layout of an app but to validate the usability of it. I believe it is absolutely invaluable to be able to learn visually, rather than simply by reading text. Wireframes allow potential problems to appear and constant engagement with them aids in the development process.
I have to admit, I did not know the difference between responsive and adaptive design. Watching a simple gif on froont.com was all I needed to understand (dat visual learning tho). This article aided in helping me understand responsive design as well as implying its importance in the web design realm.
It’s important that I consider responsive design when I design the wireframes for the Lunch Money Buddy app to provide the best experience for my personas. Let’s start sketching!
